About us…
We live in the UK with our two kids. We always loved going on ski holidays, before and after kids, and we always dreamed that one day we would own a place in the Alps.
We chose Morzine for a number of reasons:
it is a buzzing village with so much going on - winter and summer alike!
the skiing is amazing!
it is so easy to get to/from Geneva airport, and the UK.
Our kids are growing up fast, and soon school holidays will be a thing of the past for us! When this time arrives, we hope to spend a lot more time over in Morzine!
The fresh mountain air and the breath-taking scenery are such a tonic….you just need to add a generous splash of gin, a slice of lemon, a comfy chair on the deck, and there you have it….. perfection!!
The back story….
A moment of madness….
It all began with a moment of “lock-down madness”!!
“Let’s buy a chalet in Morzine”, Ivan said! “ OK”, I said, thinking , well this will never happen, we aren’t allowed to leave our house, never mind the country!!
Where there is a will, there is a way….
Well, before I knew it, I found myself sitting on my sofa, being “shown around” chalets in Morzine “virtually”, by an estate agent.
It was a cold, snowy day in Morzine, but our hearts melted when the estate agent walked through the doors of Chalet Paradis!
from dream to reality…
We got the keys to the chalet and the apartment in October 2021. Since then we have been renting out the apartment on AirBnB. Now we are ready to rent out the chalet too.
